What started as a simple idea over 10 years ago to bring American desserts to Morocco has now turned into a reality
With lots of hard work, intuition into what makes a dining experience great, Sweetopia set out to offer guests an experience they wouldn’t soon forget – generous portions with inventive menu selections, all made fresh with quality ingredients and served in a welcoming and casually comfortable, family-friendly setting.
At Sweetopia, everything is made in-house, from scratch, with no industrial processes, using fresh ingredients. After many years of testing, the recipes have been perfected to bring you the most authentic American flavors, using top quality ingredients.
Sweetopia brings authentic Tex-Mex flavors, offering quesadillas, burritos, tacos and more. Everything is homemade, on-site, from handmade tortillas to fresh, roasted salsa, to the decadent, sweet American desserts . We also offer a traditional American brunch menu featuring our famous American pancakes, homemade hash-browns, and tasty Southwest Breakfast Burritos and Tacos!
Of course you can’t forget the coffee…..at Sweetopia we use our own FRESH ROASTED coffee and can also custom roast on request. The coffee is roasted according to the artisanal method and is offered for sale in 400 or 800 gr decorative burlap bags, ideal as gifts.
Sweetopia, located in the lower level of Mega Mall, is a spin-off of our flag-ship restaurant which was located in Mahaj Riad. residents and visitors are welcome to take a break and enjoy a moment of relaxation, socializing and pampering. Sweetopia provides an inviting atmosphere, offering personalized service and outstanding quality products.

We are truly a homemade, from-scratch kitchen, meaning we create all items from raw ingredients, not poured from a can or cooked from frozen. Tex-Mex cuisine is a combination of Mexican and Texan flavors to create a unique cuisine typically found in America. It’s characterized by its use of shredded cheese, barbacoa meat (particularly beef and chicken), beans, peppers and spices, in addition to flour tortillas. Sweetopia offers a variety of Tex-Mex specialties along with great vegetarian options.
